Coetzee's new book is weird. It's a split screen. Each page has 3 sections that they're calling streams. The top stream is essays, the middle a diary from an authoroid, and the bottom a monologue from a character. There's no "look inside" function on Amazon yet which is annoying cuz I really wanna see what the page looks like.

http://machines.kfitz.info/168-2007/node/122#comments books Coetzee genre kindle novels technology Tue, 11 Dec 2007 11:42:53 +0000 TimberOfFennario 122 at http://machines.kfitz.info/168-2007 Here we go http://machines.kfitz.info/168-2007/node/99
I think this is really the beginning.

But as interesting and notable as I think this release is, I have written enough uninteresting stuff about electronic books. I really posted this because I want you to watch for the first text to come up on the reader during the promotional video. Yeah they're thinking about it.
http://machines.kfitz.info/168-2007/node/99#comments amazon Diamond Age E-book interface. embodiment kindle Literature Stephenson Thu, 22 Nov 2007 05:34:47 +0000 campagnolo 99 at http://machines.kfitz.info/168-2007
