Bloomington, Illinois

Bloomington, Illinois is a city located in McClean County, Illinois and is the more populous of the two principal municipalities of the Bloomington-Normal Metropolitan Statistical Area which is often referred to simply as "Bloomington-Normal." It is home to the small Liberal Arts College Illinois Wesleyan University. Bloomington, Illinois is also host to the Illinois Shakespeare Festival, one of the larger such festivals in America. Among Bloomington's most famous residents is the 23rd Vice President Adlai E. Stevenson I.
